Being here at Global Virtual Academy is truly my dream. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping families find a safe, flexible, and high-quality academic environment where students can thrive—no matter where life takes them.
My journey in education started across the world in Sydney, Australia, where I spent two years at Hillsong Leadership College developing the leadership foundation that would shape my future. I returned to the U.S. and earned my degree in education from Southeastern University, and soon began teaching Biology at a charter school in Central Florida, where I spent five years helping students discover their potential in the sciences.
My next chapter took me to Shanghai, China, where I joined The Walt Disney Company: Disney English as a Foreign Training Consultant. I played a key role in enhancing the customer experience with the Disney Education brand while continuing to grow in immersive, interactive education. From there, I transitioned into the International Baccalaureate international landscape where I taught IB Biology to Chinese high school students—many of whom went on to Ivy League and other prestigious universities in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. I also led as Head of the Science Department and later served as Director of Teacher Development, supporting both students and educators.
In 2019, I returned home with a desire to build something special—an environment where students could learn without limits and families could feel seen and supported. With the guidance of my entrepreneur parents and a deep understanding of global education, I founded Global Virtual Academy in 2020.
Today, along with GVA, I also work in the college admissions space, guiding high school students as they consider their next steps. My work in college admissions keeps me connected to a network of educators and professionals who are passionate about guiding the next generation. It allows me to stay at the forefront of what students need to succeed—academically and personally—while surrounding myself with others who are equally committed to helping young people develop confidence in their future. That perspective continues to shape our mission at GVA every single day.
